About the Speaker

While maintaining a surgical practice, Dr. Goel also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, Canadian Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and British Columbia Medical Association. Dr. Goel is fellowship-trained from the University of Western Ontario and Harvard University, and has had exposure to complex shoulder tendon transfers at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
In addition to being a treating orthopaedic physician, and professor, Dr. Danny Goel is the CEO and a co-founder of Precision OS Technology, a company which brings together orthopaedic surgeons and high-end game developers to create the most innovative and realistic medical orthopaedic simulator experiences. PrecisionOS aims to evolve global surgical education through VR, completely changing how surgical education is delivered and improve the performance of healthcare providers.
