How do I manage my dependent(s) appointment needs?

Please go to the clinic Registration Counter with your dependent and present both your original identity cards (NRIC), or birth certificate (if your child is below 15 years old).

Our staff will need to sight and verify the documents before activating the link.

Once done, you will be able to view and manage your dependent(s) SingHealth appointment journey, via the Health Buddy app or our websites.

Caregiver FAQs

You can manage your child's appointments. You can also manage any adult/elderly dependents' appointments, as long as you have been authorised by them. Our system allows up to 8 caregivers to be authorised for any one patient.

Both you (caregiver) and your dependent (patient) will have to be present at the Clinic Registration Counter with your original Identity Cards (NRIC) or birth certificate (if your child is below 15 years old). Our staff at the Clinic Registration Counter will verify the authorisation, and then enable the access in our system. Once activated, you will be able to use your SingPass login to access and manage all your depedents' (patient) online services provided by SingHealth:

Yes, but only for accessing and managing SingHealth online services, such as:

  • Viewing, making and rescheduling appointments
  • Mobile registration on the day of appointment

SingHealth leverages on the national SingPass secure login for patients’ caregivers to access information.

Only the patient and his/her nominated caregiver(s) will be able to view and manage contact details and appointment information.

This can only be done with secure SingPass login, or in person at the clinic. There is a full audit trail of each access by any party using a login feature to access any account and information.

There is no legal documentation necessary. The patient is the sole decision maker, and he/she is responsible for authorising his/her nominated caregiver. Both the patient and the nominated caregiver will have to be present at the clinic, with their original Identity Cards (NRIC). Our staff at the Clinic Registration Counter will verify and authorise the access.

If a patient has signed a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) to any other individual, that authorised person will then act on behalf of the patient, instead of the patient himself/herself.

A formal LPA documentation must be presented to our staff at the Clinic Counter for verification.
