FAQs for Health Buddy

Health Buddy app is a comprehensive health app that provides many useful services such as mobile payment and clinic queue updates. Please refer to these frequently asked questions to find out more.


SingPass / Login Matters

You may encounter an error while logging in if the servers are restarting during maintenance. Kindly wait and try again later.

If the error persists after 30 minutes, please email hbsupport@singhealth.com.sg so that we can check the error further. It will be helpful if you can attach a screenshot of the error.

Yes, you can login from overseas. However, access using Virtual Private Network (VPN) is not allowed due to security reasons.

As we do not have trademark rights in USA, Health Buddy app cannot be downloaded if your Apple App Store Country/Region or Android Google Play country setting is set to USA. Please change the country setting to Singapore to download Health Buddy. 



App Issues

  1. Phone Model
  2. Operating System (OS) Version
  3. App version
  4. Were you prompted to update the app?
  5. Any error message received? Screenshot?

 


Your Huawei phone may not be set to the Google Play for app updates. Please try the following:

1) If you have the option to choose which store (Huawei AppGallery or Google Play ) when you click the update button, please select "Google Play". You will then be redirected to Google Play and can download and install the app from there.

2) If you have already preset AppGallery (Huawei App Store) as the default, when prompted to update to the latest version of the app, please close the app and proceed to "Google Play Store" instead. Please update Health Buddy app from the Google Play store.

The Health Buddy app is available on Google Play and Apple App Store only. If your Huawei phone version cannot access Google Play, you will not be able to download the update.

Health Buddy app is managed by SingHealth and we optimise the user experience of our app for SingHealth patients.

We present the most relevant and high interest topics to users in a simple, easy to use format on Health Buddy.

To simplify navigation in Health Buddy app, patients can only manage appointments for SingHealth institutions - Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), KK Women's & Children's Hospital (KKH), National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP).

This also ensures faster resolution for any issues faced.
