Inpatient Services

  • Admission to SCH can only be done through referral from partnering healthcare institutions.
  • Appointment for admission is made by prior arrangement with SCH.

​Please speak to your doctor for more information on your stay at a community hospital.


Documents to bring

Please bring along the original documents of the following to register for your admission:

  • NRIC / Permanent Resident document / passport
  • Medical reports
  • Laboratory / X-ray results
  • Any other medical health reports available
  • Referral letter
  • Civil Servant Card
  • Medical Exemption / Medical Fee Assistance / Public Assistance Card


If you have the following documents, please bring them along:

  • Letter of Guarantee from Employer
  • Medical Claim Authorisation Form (MCAF)
  • Means-Test Declaration Form
  • Medisave Account Holder's NRIC


Deposit

For non-subsidised patients, a deposit is required upon admission. The deposit amount varies with the type of services required.


Cancellation

Please notify the Business Office of any cancellation prior to your admission.

  • Outram Community Hospital, Business Office at 6970 3000 / 3001
  • Sengkang Community Hospital, Business Office at 6930 7000 / 6930

    Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
    Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
    Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
    Closed on Sunday and PHs
