More than 60% of our patients come from low-income households, many earning below $1,200 per month. By the time they arrive at our community hospitals, families have often depleted savings due to prolonged illness, hospital stays, or caregiving responsibilities. 

Recovery does not end at discharge. Transport for follow-ups, essential medical equipment at home, caregiver strain, loss of income, and adapting to new limitations all continue long after a patient leaves hospital.
