As we look back on 2025, we celebrate the moments that shaped us, the people who inspired us, and the milestones that brought us closer as one SCH. Here are some of our highlights!
Engaging Patients Using Dexie
We introduced Dexie, a humanoid robot that supports therapy through exercise, music and memory games. This marks SCH’s continued push towards technology that keeps patients with Dementia engaged, active and connected.
Strengthening Paediatric Palliative Care Through Cocoon
Together with Lien Foundation and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), we introduced Cocoon, a Paediatric Palliative Care programme that supports children with complex medical needs and their families.
By providing tailored care and caregiver training,Cocoon reflects SCH’s commitment to care that supports both patients and families beyond the hospital setting.
Building EGH Campus For Future Care
We reached a key milestone with the completion of piling works and the start of main construction for the EGH Campus. As we move closer to its opening, we will keep the momentum going and build even greater excitement and awareness towards the EGH Campus.
Laying the Digital Foundations For Tomorrow
In 2025, SCH embarked on the SingHealth Cluster’s Big 3 initiatives - NGEMR (Next Generation Electronic Medical Record, Epic), NBS (National Billing System), and NHIPS (National Healthcare Integrated Pharmacy System).
These efforts will strengthen our digital readiness and shape future workflows as SCH prepare for implementation by 2027.
Building A Shared Identity Through Music
Our first-ever music video, Home Away From Home, premiered at the SCH Dinner & Dance and is now on our YouTube channel. Created by colleagues across domains, it reflects our shared identity and pride in SCH as a place we belong to.
Advancing Social Prescribing
SCH continues to advance Social Prescribing through partnerships and innovation. From receiving national recognition, to the launch of the SCH Hydroponics Garden and our ongoing research on arts interventions for health, these efforts reflect our commitment to holistic, person-centred care.
These highlights remind us that every achievement is built on people and purpose. As we close this chapter, here’s to growing together, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
