Adjunct Assistant Professor Chen Ching Kit is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and pursued postgraduate training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Cardiology at KKH. He underwent two years of fellowship in paediatric heart failure and heart transplantation at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

His other areas of expertise include exercise echocardiography, foetal echocardiography and 3D-printing of heart models. Dr Chen is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Paediatrics at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. A recipient of the Philip Witchel Memorial Research Fellowship in Pediatric Heart Failure 2013 (Canada), ​his current research interests include dilated cardiomyopathy, exercise echocardiography in cardiomyopathy and congenital heart diseases, and the impact of de novo anti-HLA antibodies in paediatric heart transplantation.
