Often times, simulation equipment is purchased without a thorough consultation process. As a direct result, technologies are either not used or not used to their greatest potential. The workshop will offer ideas and strategies for building and equipping a simulation program around curricular requirements. Leveraging such is beneficial when exploring purchases, life cycles, and how to get the greatest use of each technology.

  1. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of building simulation curriculum around equipment/technologies
  2. Apply clinical education to envision, develop and implement realistic clinical and standardised patients programmes
  3. Understand and apply aspects of asset management as it applies to curricular needs
