Rapid advancements in virtual reality and machine learning research are revolutionising the future of healthcare simulation training and serious games. With these developments in mind, the Serious Games Association (SGA) and the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation (SIMS) co-organised the inaugural SIMS Games Challenge, a healthcare simulation game design competition. The competition explores innovative application of new technologies to enhance learning for the healthcare industry.

During the finals, delegates can hear from the six shortlisted teams as they present their healthcare simulation game prototypes to the judging panel, and have hands-on opportunities to try out the games for themselves.
