Musculoskeletal Skills Training in Singapore and Malaysia: Challenges, Directions and Opportunities in a Technological Age

This workshop provides an interactive platform for musculoskeletal skill trainers to share needs and challenges in residency training. Opportunities to harness innovative technology to enhance skills training as well as cross-straits collaboration to promote education and research in budding academic clinicians will be explored.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Highlight challenges in surgical training in meeting the evolving needs of the population in Singapore and Malaysia;
  2. Explore the use of emerging technologies in skills development and assessment; 
  3. Discuss how to nurture academic clinical practice among residents through research in Surgical training.
