Many of those who find themselves in simulation technology and operations roles do not have a medical background and are therefore submersed into an arena filled with medical equipment and a foreign lingo. This lecture will focus on understanding and troubleshooting common medical equipment such as IV pumps, defibrillators & hospital beds. Associated medical terminology and abbreviations are also covered in this lecture, and are extremely helpful to know and understand.
