Ms Sucy MATHEW

Senior Nurse Manager,

SingHealth Polyclinics, Singapore

SNM Sucy Mathew is currently working at the SingHealth Polyclinic in Marine Parade. In 2017, she obtained a post-basic training in Critical Care Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and Leadership course.

Having been with SingHealth Polyclinics for over 10 years, SNM Sucy leads and supervises a team of nurses in providing holistic, effective and quality patient-centric care. She manages staff performance, training and development by conducting staff induction, clinical education, in-service education and training needs analysis to ensure delivery of high quality nursing care.

SNM Sucy has been part of the Acute Care workgroup since 2017. The workgroup is actively involved in implementing changes to the Emergency care workflows within the 8 polyclinics. Changes to Emergency equipment in the Emergency Trolley, Emergency bag and Emergency kits are recommended every year. An example would be the introduction of Injection Glucagon and Glyceryl Trinitrate (GTN) spray in all SHP clinics. The workgroup also conducts annual Code Blue Audits using simulated mock scenarios for on-site simulation training at each of the 8 clinics.
