Mr Perwez Hashmi is an Advisor (Operations, Business Development and Media & Marketing) at the Centre for Innovation in Medical College, The Aga Khan University, Pakistan. He has served as a facilited the training of medical college students in doctor-patient communication skills, as well as a master corporate trainer at AKU. Being a PhD Scholar with four master degree in diversified disciplines like philosophy, health policy management, economics, international relations substantiated by a law degree, Perwez has a distinctive and rich background in research, academic, administrative, event and operation managements, with 19 years’ experience.
As a key leader with the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME) Commissioning Group, Perwez spearheads the planning, training and integration of new teaching/learning technology into the curriculum. His vision is to provide unique opportunities for students, faculty and allied health professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge through use of simulation-based technologies in a safe and secure environment.
