Ms Belinda Tan is a pharmacist at the SingHealth Polyclinic in Bedok, and has 4 years of experience in primary care. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1999, and has a keen interest in medications used during emergencies.
Belinda is also a member of the Acute Care Workgroup and is involved in updating emergency drugs and equipment in the workgroup. Recently, she helped SHP to procure the drug, IM Glucagon, and educated all staff on its use. She has also educated patients and staff on the use of Glyceryl Trinitrate (GTN) spray that replaces the oral tablets. She has been an active participant in the Code Blue mock scenarios which are conducted annually at SHP.
