Assoc Prof Aziz NATHER

Assoc Prof Aziz Nather has been a member of NUH Multi-Disciplinary Diabetic Foot Team since May 2003. He was also the Founding President of the Asia Pacific Association on Diabetic Limb Problems set up in Singapore in November 2004, and currently serves as the Honorary Secretary General of the Association. Assoc Prof Nather was also Chairman of the ASEAN Plus Expert Group Forum on the Management of Diabetic Foot Wounds from 2012 to 2014, where experts from member countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Sri Lanka, produced the ASEAN Plus Guidelines on Management of Diabetic Foot Wounds. As Chairman of the URGO Asia Pacific Wound Expert Board from 2015 to 2017, he oversaw the production of education materials for diabetic foot wounds for healthcare professionals and patients. Assoc Prof Nather currently serves as a corresponding Member and Country Representative for Singapore for the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot of the International Diabetic Federation.
