Assistant Professor Loy See Ling
Principal Investigator, Department of Reproductive Medicine
KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Dr. Loy See Ling is currently a Principal Investigator at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and holds an assistant professorship at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. She earned her PhD in Human Nutrition from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014, specializing in life course epidemiology, reproductive health, and chrononutrition. Dr. Loy has received numerous international awards, fellowships, and research grants for her contributions to maternal and child health. In 2024, she was awarded funding for projects studying male and female reproductive health under the NMRC Population Health Research Grant (PHRG) Open Category and Transition Award (TA), respectively. She has published extensively, with over 100 peer-reviewed articles, and serves as a reviewer for international journals. Dr. Loy mentors both undergraduate and clinician-scientist PhD candidates, focusing on innovative research aimed at improving metabolic health outcomes in women and men. She is also actively involved in designing and leading intervention programs that utilize an early life course approach to optimize metabolic health in couples since preconception.
