Abel Peh is a Social Service Scholar and currently a Social Worker with the Mental Health Service at Allkin Singapore. He is a curious individual with interests in mental health, social inequality, and research. He currently spearheads the Mental Health Befriending Programme at Allkin and actively participates in various community-centric initiatives. He advocates for a holistic understanding of mental health recovery that extends beyond its clinical definitions, to highlighting social and personal meanings. His guiding principle towards life is encapsulated in the phrase, “even beautiful sunsets need cloudy skies”.
