Ms Yik is a senior clinical counsellor at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, she holds a Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling and has more than 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.  
 
In 2019, Ms Yik joined the pilot of the RECAP (Resilience for Children and Adolescents with Psychosomatic disorders) initiative, which provides early intervention for children and adolescents with psychosomatic symptoms. She became the Clinical Counsellor Lead of this program in 2020, working closely with the RECAP team to ensure its continuous development and success. 
 
She is passionate and committed to enhancing youth mental health and their well-being, which she will be sharing insights about the RECAP program, highlighting its impact and the strategies used to support young individuals with psychosomatic symptoms.
