Mr Daniel Lim
Co-Founder
EnableAsia

Daniel is currently the Co-Founder of EnableAsia, a Singaporean Social Enterprise focused on caring for Persons Living with Dementia (PLWD) and family caregivers; he is also the Co-Founder of the Wellbeing Champions Network™ in Singapore. Professionally he lectures regularly in higher education institutions, sits on advisory councils of health institutions and academic study boards of universities. Daniel was a family caregiver caring for his 86 year-old late father living with dementia for the last 15 years, and is currently caring for his 81 year-old mother who is a cancer survivor living with frailty and multiple chronic conditions. Daniel champions “The Enabling Festival” in Singapore and the region.

He co-authored “Colour Our Memories” a personal scrapbook to uncover his father's precious memories, create new relationships and deepen existing ones. The activity book is suitable for persons living with dementia and their caregivers, elderly and even children. There are colouring activities, human stories of caregivers, meaningful conversational starters and fun stickers to engage with.

Daniel will share his personal approach to minding his mind, navigating difficult conversations on death and dying, and understanding how self-care spurred off an accidental social entrepreneurship journey, thought leadership, advocacy and finding one’s purpose in life.
