Mr Christopher Gee

Mr Christopher Gee is Deputy Director at the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) and Senior Research Fellow where he heads the Governance and Economy department. 

Christopher has published several papers on retirement financing, strengthening old-age income support and managing healthcare costs for an ageing population.  He leads the country team involved in the preparation of National Transfer Accounts for Singapore, a research investigation into the generational economy and the economic life-cycle of Singaporeans.  His research interests are focused on the policy implications and outcomes arising from Singapore’s demographic trends, in particular those aspects relating to housing, healthcare and retirement adequacy 

Christopher was previously in investment banking, leading equity research teams covering Singapore and Malaysia, and the Asian real estate sector. He has a BA (Law) from the University of Nottingham and holds the CFA charter.
