FAQs for Appointments

Appointments FAQs

The Appointment e-service allows patients of the SingHealth* cluster to view, reschedule and cancel selected Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) appointments. For your clinical safety, some exclusions will apply.

*Only applicable to SGH, CGH, SKH, KKH, NCCS, NDCS, NHCS, SNEC and SHP.

  • Ensure that you have sufficient supply of medication and check your Medical Certificate validity period, if applicable.
  • Any special arrangements or tests that need to be done prior to seeing your Specialist should be completed and/or synchronized.
  • Always bring along any necessary documents as previously instructed e.g. x-ray forms.

Currently, you may only use the Appointment e-service to view, reschedule and cancel existing appointments. To make a new appointment, at a clinic/institution which you have never previously consulted, please submit a request via the Online Request form and we will get back to you within 3 working days. This is to ensure we are able to effect proper matching of Specialist consultation services to your specific medical need.

Yes, you can.

  • If your child is below 15 years old, please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate to our clinic registration counters, and they will be able to do the linking. Your child need not be present.
  • If your child is above 15 years old, both you and your child will need to be present at any of our polyclinics or outpatient clinics (i.e. hospital clinics and specialty centre clinics). Please bring along both original NRICs, to our clinic registration counter. Our counter staff will be able to verify and authorise the access.

Yes, you can.

To do so, both the caregiver and the patient will need to go down to any SingHealth hospital/polyclinic with your original NRICs. At the clinic, please approach our Clinic Registration Counter staff to verify and authorise the access.
