About SingHealth Transplant Tissue Centre

The SingHealth Transplant Tissue Centre (STTC) is Singapore's dedicated multi-tissue bank, committed to recovering, processing, and banking donated human tissues, including skin, heart valves, and vascular tissues, to support patients in need of lifesaving and life-improving treatments. Established in 2015 under the Medical (Therapy, Education and Research) Act, STTC was formed through the merger of two pioneering tissue banks: the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Skin Bank (SSB) and the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) National Cardiovascular Homograft Bank (NCHB).
