Budesonide is used in the treatment of Crohn disease as well as ulcerative colitis. It can also be used off-label for the treatment of gastrointestinal graft versus host disease.
Administer without regard to meals. Swallow whole, do not crush, chew or break, unless specifically instructed by your doctor.
Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Note down missed doses and let your doctor know.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist the medicines you are taking including vitamins and supplements.
Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions that you have.
Avoid grapefruit juice with budesonide.
Others: headache, respiratory infection, dizziness, fatigue
