Dr Shah MITESH

Dr. Shah Mitesh is a Family Physician, Senior Consultant, working with SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP). He is the Chairman of the Acute Care Workgroup and the Programme Director for the SHP PRimary care Medical Education (PRiME) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training centre.
Dr. Shah received his medical degree from NUS Medicine in 1989. He received specialist training in Family Medicine and graduated with M.Med.(Family Medicine) in 1996. He received the Membership of College of Family Physicians, Singapore in 2003 and the Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology in 2011.
Dr. Shah has a special interest in Primary Care Dermatology and Minor Surgery. He spends a good portion of his time teaching Undergraduates, Medical Officers and Post-graduate students in Family Medicine. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor for Duke-NUS Medical School, as well as, Adjunct Associate Professor for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
Under his Acute Care portfolio, Dr. Shah conducts regular audits at all the SHP clinics annually. He is involved in training doctors and nurses for emergencies and codes happening at the clinic. In recent years, his acute care team has been using simulated mock scenarios for on-site simulation training at each of the 8 clinics.
