Debriefing in simulation often places emphasis on discovering "meaning behind actions". PEARLS as a blended debriefing framework can address technical and other aspects of the learners' performance.
Learning Objectives: 
  1. Review and appraise current debriefing strategies used by simulation educators and its effectiveness.
  2. Discuss blended debriefing strategies that promote self-reflection and feedback for learning.​
