Dr. Tyson Chan is a public health specialist with a proven track record in the realm of digital health. With a solid foundation in medicine and public health, Dr. Chan has emerged as a leader in shaping digital health strategies that drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes. His notable achievements include spearheading the development and implementation of the SingHealth Regional Health System digital health strategy, harnessing digital tools to track and improve key population health performance indices, and leading community health projects that seamlessly incorporate digital health solutions. Dr. Chan’s expertise is further demonstrated through his pioneering research in cancer screening, where he identified important gaps in screening uptake. This work continues to inspire his commitment to creating digital innovations that address these challenges. By leveraging rapid advancements in technology, including generative artificial intelligence, he is actively involved in developing solutions that aim to significantly improve cancer screening rates in Singapore. In his recent role as Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the SingHealth Office of Regional Health, Dr. Chan played a central part in shaping SingHealth’s future clinical digital infrastructure.
