​Going Home After Discharge

Discharge Time and Procedures
Your attending doctor will inform you when you are fit to go home, and our ward staff will proceed with the necessary arrangements for you. 

Overstaying in hospital
Patients who request to extend their stay after being declared fit for discharge will no longer enjoy any form of subsidy and will be charged for the full cost of the extended stay. 

This will take effect from the 7th calendar day (inclusive of Sundays and public holidays) after the hospital has deemed you fit for discharge or referred you to a step-down care facility. 
 

Collecting Your Medication
Following your discharge, you may collect your medication at the hospital's pharmacy.

Making Your Payment 
You can make your payment via various methods.
