The Flecainide challenge Challenge is a diagnostic test where flecainide (medication for abnormal heart rhythm) is administered through an intravenous (IV) line under careful medical supervision. This test is used performed to detect the characteristic electrocardiogram (ECG) changes to that may diagnose indicate Brugada Syndrome, a genetic disease in the heart's electrical system. It involves the administration of a specialised medication through an intravenous (IV) line.

You will need to fast for at least 6 hours before the test. This means no food and or drinks are allowed.
