The SingHealth-SUTD Population Health Innovation Fund (PHIF) Joint Grant aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Facilitate collaborations between SingHealth and SUTD faculties for population health research and innovation projects.
- Provide resources for population health research and innovation projects with high commmercialisation potential that aim to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs in the community.
- Encourage development, deployment and commercialisation of technologies of Industry relevance.
The SRHS-SUTD PHIF Joint Grant Call invites proposals which align with the key pillars and enablers in SRHS-SUTD collaborative framework which are:
- Healthcare living lab
- Vibrant community
- Population health & preventive health
- Research, Innovation & Enterprise
The themes of the grant call are as below:
- Technology and innovations for Ageing in place
- Social and built environment design for Ageing in place
- Pre-frailty & Frailty
- Diabetes & Hypertension
- Vulnerable Adolescents & Maternal and Child Health
Each award value is capped at S$100,000 per successful application to be utilised over a period of 1 year.
Eligibility
- The call is open to all applicants with primary appointment with SingHealth (including its member institutions) and full-time employees of SUTD. SUTD PI must be tenured or tenure-track faculty.
- Each application is required to involve a commercial PI from the industry.
