The SingHealth Regional Health System (RHS) recognises that our population can be empowered to keep well, get well and live well in their communities and homes.

To achieve this, we collaborate with like-minded agencies across the health and social care sectors to identify population health needs, promote behaviour changes and develop sustainable programmes to improve quality of life.

As an academic RHS, we also leverage population health research and implementation science to understand healthcare utilisation patterns and to facilitate appropriate interventions across the care continuum.  Find out more at: www.singhealth.com.sg/rhs.

The Geriatric Education and Research Institute (GERI) is a national research institute established in 2015 to help Singapore better prepare for the challenges of an ageing population.

The goal of our research is on preserving the functional ability of older adults. Research will focus on two areas: preventing functional decline and implementing integrated care. GERI actively works with partners in the government, non-profit and community spaces to conduct research in these areas. The research findings will have direct translation pathways to practice and policy, creating system implementable solutions aimed at transforming healthcare for older persons living in Singapore, allowing them to age and live more healthily.
