Project Silver Screen (PSS)

Project Silver Screen (PSS) provides functional screening in the community and aims to detect early decline in vision, hearing and oral health among seniors. Through the programme, seniors who require support can receive follow-up care and access to affordable assistive devices, such as spectacles, hearing aids and dentures. PSS helps seniors maintain their quality of life, supports independence, and enables ageing in place.

Level 1 Screening

Eligibility Criteria

• Singapore Citizens (SC) or Permanent Residents (PR)
• 60 years old and above
• Not screened in the past 12 months

Screening Fees

Level 1 Screening in the Community

SingHealth will bring Level 1 functional screenings closer to the community.

Seniors can look forward to convenient screening sessions held at community spaces such as:

• Community Centres
• Active Ageing Centres
• Places of Worship

and other locations across the region.

Level 2 Assessment

Seniors who require follow-up after their Level 1 screening will be contacted by our team for a Level 2 comprehensive assessment. This will be conducted by our service providers.

Those who require further care will be referred to the appropriate specialists for follow-up treatment and support.
