Frailty Screening

IPPT-S.jpg

In 2017, Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) piloted a frailty screening programme for seniors aged 55 and above. The screening assesses their balance, flexibility, power and cardio-respiratory endurance through physical tests. Questionnaires also evaluate their daily living activities, psycho-social risks and nutritional status.

Partnering Senior Activity Centres, Community Clubs and Resident Committees, we aim to screen 2,000 seniors by 2021.

Screening takes approximately one hour per person.

Get screened if you are:

  • Aged 55 years or older
  • Able to move independently (with or without walking aids)

Contact us if you’re keen to bring this to your organisation/ Senior Activity Centre!
