Profile

Dr Woon Kwee Lian is currently a Senior Consultant Anaesthesiologist practising at Changi General Hospital (CGH). She has been a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetist since 2006 and obtained her MBBS from Australia while completing her post graduation training in Singapore with the Masters of Medicine(Anaesthesiology) in 2005. Dr Woon completed her overseas fellowship(HMDP) in Vascular anaesthesia in Taiwan.

She has been a senior lecturer of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and an examiner in the Primary Anaesthesia Exam at the National University of Singapore. She is a member of CGH Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics committee, Regional Anaesthesia service and Acute pain service committee. Dr Woon has an interest in Regional Anaesthesia, is a keen ‘paravertebralist’ and has been involved in outreach teaching programs in ultrasound guided regional techniques to Nepal, Cambodia. She has also been a faculty member in regional anaesthetic workshops in Australia.
