Profile

Dr Vidya Upadhyaya was appointed as Consultant Radiologist in 2015 by the Sengkang General Hospital and has been working at Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital for the past three years.

She has previously been working as Consultant Radiologist at Justice K. S. Hedge Charitable Hospital which is a teaching hospital attached to K. S. Hedge Medical Academy, Mangalore, India. Her academic appointment was as Associate Professor of Radiology at Nitte University, Mangalore, where she was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and research.

Dr Upadhyaya received her medical degree from Gujarat University, India in 1995. After her postgraduate training in Diagnostic Radiology from Gujarat University, she moved to UK where she pursued her specialist training in Radiology in North Wales Deanery and subspecialized in breast imaging. 

She has a keen interest in teaching and has been involved in teaching and organising Radiology workshops for the medical students and Radiology Residents. Her research interest lies in the breast and axillary imaging.
