Profile

Dr Lee Shu Woan graduated from NUS in 1992 and qualified as an emergency physician after passing the FRCS A&E Examinations in 1999. She has a special interest in emergency cardiac care and has been involved in the education of medical students and emergency medicine (EM) trainees since then. She also served as the associate program director for Singhealth EM residency program since inauguration till 2012.

Dr Lee sits in the National Exit Examination Committee (since 2006) and the MMED examination committee (since 2012) both of which are involved in setting standards, drafting blueprint and questions for both EM exit exams and intermediate level exams respectively.

Currently, she is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). She also carved out time as the clinical advisor for the Centre for Innovations (CFI), where she sifts through innovative ideas to bring some of them to fruition.
