Profile

A/Prof Anette S Jacobsen is a senior consultant in Department of Paediatric Surgery and Clinical Director of International Medical Program at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She is also the Clinical Educator Lead (Medicine), Education Office. She is a Clinical Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. National University of Singapore as well as Adjunct Associate Professor of DUKE-NUS Graduate Medical School.

A/Prof Jacobsen spearheaded the development of Minimally Invasive Surgery and also developed the Urodynamic Service and dysfunctional voiding clinic in KKH. She is actively involved in the teaching and training Paediatric Urology educational programmes in Singapore and in the region. She has a strong and continuing interest in Surgical Outreach, leading and conducting surgical missions to Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, India and Indonesia.
