Dementia Support Group “Remember ME”

A platform for sharing personal experiences and meet with other patients and caregivers of those living with dementia.

A team of healthcare professionals from different areas will provide exercises, cognitive skills, talks and discussions.

Frequency/Format

The sessions will be conducted bi-monthly on Tuesday 2pm – 4pm in SGH campus.

Young Onset Dementia Patient Support Group

Intended for people with Young Onset Dementia (YOD), kept at 8 participants each time.

Instead of the usual dialectic style, this support group focus more on starting conversations and sharing within the group.

For each of the sessions, participants are guided by themes and guiding questions to facilitate those conversations.

Frequency/Format

In-person sessions will be conducted bi-monthly.

Caregiver/Dementia Peer Support Group

Objectives:

  1. Meet other caregivers of persons with dementia
  2. Sharing of caregiving experiences
  3. Create a mutual support on caregiving journey

Frequency/Format

At CGH Integrated Building L1 Cantine

Every 2nd Saturday of each month

10am – 11.30am (Except on Public Holidays)
