Treatment for Hearing Loss

The ear is made up of the external, middle and inner parts. Conductive hearing loss is caused by problems in the external and middle ear, that can prevent sounds from getting into the inner ear. This could be due to ear wax, middle ear infections, a build up of fluids in the middle ear, or a hole in the ear drum.

Treatment for Pituitary Tumours

The pituitary gland is found at the base of the brain. It is the "master" gland and controls other glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands as well as most bodily functions.

Although most pituitary tumours are benign, if not diagnosed early, it can grow to a size that will cause loss of vision, impact the brain and pituitary. Removal of the tumour is necessary when it is putting pressure on the brain or pressing on the optic nerves.

Treatment for Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

Sleep Apnoea is a serious, potentially lifethreatening condition where the person stops breathing for 10 seconds or more each time during sleep. This causes sleep fragmentation and results in poor quality sleep, leading to daytime sleepiness. Sleep apnoea can cause high blood pressure, memory loss, poor concentration, poor work performance, motor vehicle accidents and even marital problems.
