The Celebrating our Nursing Angels (CONA) fundraising campaign returns for its third year, creating dual impact by honouring our nurses while supporting patients in need.

Nurses are the backbone of NHCS, making up nearly half of our healthcare workforce. Day and night, these dedicated professionals provide care and comfort to patients with heart conditions. Through this meaningful initiative, staff can express their appreciation for our nurses while helping patients in need.

A BIG THANK YOU to our staff from various professions and departments who have come together to honour our nurses while supporting a good cause!

The campaign's concept is simple, yet impactful; for every $5 donated by staff, a thoughtful gift bag is prepared for our nurses. Thanks to our generous sponsors – Biore, Camel Nuts, HoneySpree, ITO EN Singapore, MegRhythm, NewMoon and Suzuki Coffee – each gift bag contains practical wellness items including bird's nest, chicken essence, coffee packs, green tea, honey, facial wipes and steamed neck patches.

Throughout July, the Corporate Development team has been actively engaging staff across the NHCS building, raising awareness and encouraging participation in this meaningful cause. All net proceeds will go towards the NHCS Heart To Heart Fund, providing financial assistance to heart patients in need. The response from staff has been heartening – truly embodying the NHCS spirit where caring for our people and patients goes hand in hand.  The generous donations will help ease the financial burden on patients and their families, enabling them to focus on what matters most – recovery and well-being.
