"It was more than 30 years ago when I first started caring for elderly patients at the old Norris Block at SGH.  Dressing, feeding and bathing them gave me great joy.  I regarded them as my grandparents since I never knew my own. Today I continue to hold a dear place for the elderly, and chose to specialise in gerontology.

I have a strong urge to seek out the weak, the poor and lonely elderly.  In healing and caring for them, I pay tribute to my late parents. I know deep within, I am blessed as a nurse to make a difference in people's lives."
