“I see myself as a river containing the water of lifelong experiences, love for life-long learning, knowledge and humility. I invite the world to come and drink from this river (to learn from me). When it rains heavily, the river overflows to the riverbanks and gives nourishment to both the people living on the land and trees beside it. The people, land and trees are my learners. The rain represents the changes in world knowledge, skills and attitudes. The river absorbs these and in turn transmits them to the learners. It teaches and guides them to apply what they have learnt to benefit society and the betterment of mankind.”
