Aprepitant is used to prevent nausea and vomiting after chemotherapy.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at the next scheduled time. Do not take two doses to make up for the missed dose.
Avoid taking certain fruits such as grapefruit, pomelo, starfruit and pomegranate when you are taking this medication. This is because these fruits may affect how the body processes the drug and increase the risk of side-effects.

It is normal to experience some side effects from Aprepitant. As discussed with your doctor, taking Aprepitant will be beneficial for your condition. Do not stop taking Aprepitant without checking with your doctor.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep this medication away from children.
Pack this medication into a black trash bag and seal it tightly before throwing into the rubbish chute or bin.
