Brothers' gift to advance education

Two new scholarships which aim to nurture promising SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre clinicians, faculty members, nurses and allied health professionals have been established with a combined gift of $1 million from Mr Oei Hong Leong and his younger brother Mr Frankle Widjaja.

Helping paediatric diabetic patients overcome a prickly situation

EtonHouse Community Fund made a gift to the KKH Health Fund in support of about 60 children with diabetes from less advantaged families. This gift will empower these children and their care givers to follow established diabetes care plans for the child.

Sewing for a Good Cause

When mask-wearing was made mandatory to curb the spread of COVID-19, many realised that finding the right masks, especially for children, could be a challenge. Being problem solvers at heart, some of our staff across the cluster initiated their own projects to sew masks and do good at the same time.
