About

Dr. Lu is a Consultant Urologist at Singapore General Hospital, with a strong foundation in academic medicine and surgical excellence. He received his M.D. from Peking University, became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and completed his urology residency with SingHealth in 2022. He is currently undergoing fellowship training in endourology and minimally invasive surgery in the United States.

Besides his clinical focus on kidney stones, minimally invasive surgery and andrology, Dr. Lu is also deeply involved in research and education. He leads projects funded by SGH and NHIC grants and is well published. He holds appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor with both Duke-NUS Medical School and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He also completed a Professional Diploma in Smart Health Leadership at NUS.

Patients appreciate Dr. Lu’s calm, approachable manner and the time he takes to listen. He believes that good care starts with understanding each person’s concerns and making sure they feel supported every step of the way.
