Clin Asst Prof Anthony Yii is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). Dr Yii obtained his medical degree from the University of Cambridge and was accredited as a specialist in Respiratory Medicine in 2017. He specialises in the management of respiratory conditions and holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, focusing on Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
Dr Yii serves as the clinical lead for value-driven care and quality improvement initiatives for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at both the hospital and healthcare cluster levels. In this role, he leads initiatives to optimise care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and improve cost-effectiveness in respiratory care. He is also a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, and SingHealth Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB).
Dr Yii’s research primarily focuses on asthma, COPD, and airway diseases, reflecting his dedication to advancing evidence-based approaches to healthcare quality and population health. His contributions to the field have been recognised at platforms such as the SingHealth Publish! Award and the Johns Hopkins Master of Public Health Capstone Award for Outstanding Achievement.
