Dr Sharon Poh is dual qualified in dental surgery as well as medicine, and obtained her MD degree from Duke-NUS Medical School. She completed six years of specialist training in Radiation Oncology and is a Fellow in Clinical Oncology from the Royal College of Radiologists (UK). She was also awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Programme Award and completed one year of advanced training in proton therapy in Switzerland.
She sub-specialises in the treatment of patients with head and neck cancers, primary brain malignancies as well as gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-billary cancers. Her research interests include gastrointestinal and head and neck malignancies among others, with a number of publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
