About Doctor

Dr Ong King Jane is a Consultant with the Palliative Medicine Service under the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Changi General Hospital. She is also a Palliative Medicine Visiting Consultant for the Inpatient Hospice Palliative Care Service at Saint Andrew’s Community Hospital.

Dr Ong received her medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Medicine in 1997. She obtained her Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from NUS in 2019, followed by her specialist training in Palliative Medicine in 2023.

Her appointment as the Director of Clinical Services (Specialist) at Singhealth Duke-NUS Supportive & Palliative Care enables her to lead the integration of specialist supportive and palliative care services across SingHealth, improve the quality and access to supportive and palliative care, and provide leadership in service planning, ensuring harmonisation of clinical expertise across sites and exploring sustainable models of care for the future.
