Dr Tay obtained her medical degree at the National University of Singapore in 2006. She holds the Master of Medicine in Family Medicine NUS (2011), is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (2014) and the Academy of Medicine Singapore (2018).

She was working in the polyclinic before joining the Department of Family Medicine & Continuing Care at SGH in 2011, looking after patients in the inpatient, community hospital, ambulatory and home care settings.

Her area of interest is in caring for patients across multiple clinical settings, addressing their complex medical, functional and social care needs holistically.
