About

Dr Lau Wei Keat is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia & Surgical Intensive Care at Changi General Hospital (CGH).

He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2015 and completed specialty training in anaesthesiology with SingHealth in 2025. During his residency, Dr Lau served as Chief Resident, where he was actively involved in leadership and administrative roles. His contributions included driving wellness initiatives, streamlining workflows, optimising manpower planning and rostering, and supporting medical education. In recognition of his contributions, he was conferred the Outstanding Faculty Award at the Residency in SingHealth Excels (RiSE) in 2023.

Keen to contribute to the delivery of safe and patient-centred anaesthesia care, Dr Lau is also passionate about teaching and mentoring, and looks forward to making an impact in the dynamic field of perioperative medicine.
