Fabricate to Simulate
Speaker: Ms Rachel Bailey
Date: 3 November 2017 (Fri) | Time: 1000 - 1130 | Location: Academia, Level 2, L2-T1
Workshop Level: Novice to Advanced
This presentation will explore ways in improving realism in simulations by fabricating medical conditions. This course is an interactive classroom-based presentation that will include video of simulations that involve these fabrications. It will conclude with a 10-minute question-and-answer session, giving participants the opportunity to share ways to incorporate fabrication in their simulations.
Learning Objectives:
Describe a hands-free technique to making active bleeding wounds.
Discuss ways to incorporate pulmonary oedema into simulations.
Describe the process to fabricating circulating ECMO through simulators.
